DHAKA: The first namaj-e-janaza of former Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) managing director and chief editor Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury was held at Banani Jam-e-Masjid after the Zohr prayer on Monday.

Deceased’s relatives, friends, well wishers and people from all walks of life participated in the Janaza.

The second namaj-e-janaza of Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury will be held at the National Press Club premises after the Asar prayer.

Later, the eminent journalist will be laid to rest beside his mother’s grave at Azimpur Graveyard in city.

The senior journalist was killed in a road accident at Karwan Bazar area in city at 8:00pm on November 29.
