DHAKA: Jean Lambert, member of the European Parliament and chairperson of the delegation for relations with South Asia arrived in Dhaka on December 6.

She came here at the invitation of the president of BGMEA to attend the Dhaka Apparel Summit.

During her visit, MEP Jean Lambert will meet the Speaker of the Parliament and senior political figures as well as Civil society prominent personalities engaged in improving work place safety and workers' rights in Bangladesh. 

She will also tour RMG factories in Savar with a team of the Accord on Fire and Building Safety.

On the final day of her visit to Bangladesh, MEP Lambert will address a press conference on December 10.
