Comilla: Leaders and activists of BNP-led 20-party alliance vandalized eight trucks and CNG-run auto rickshaw in Daudkandi on Tuesday amid the nationwide blockade enforced by BNP.

The alliance men were observing the blockade program on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Eliotgonj of the upazila. At one stage, they vandalized eight vehicles there around 10:30am.

On information, police rushed to the spot. Chases and counter-chases took place. Police fired rubber bullets and brought the situations under control.
