NOAKHALI: Three siblings were found dead on Tuesday noon after bank of Meghna River collapsed on them in Hatia uapzila.

The deceased were identified as Riaz, 10, Zia, 8 and Rahat, 7, son of Hasan Ali of Keringchar village.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Office-in-Charge of Hatia Thana Nurul Huda said the trio went missing on Monday when they went there for fishing as river bank collapsed on them.

Later after 24-hour frantic search, locals found their bodies under sand and informed police, he added.
