JHENIDAH: Three people were killed and two injured as a cement-loaded truck overturned at Chalabhora on Jhenidah-Jessore highway Sunday might.

The deceased were identified as Golam Nabi, 40, resident of Baribatham village under sadar upazila of Jhenidah, Shukur Ali, 52 and Shahabuddin of Kushtia.

Witnesses and police sources said, three people died on the spot as a cement-loaded truck lost control and fell down into a nearby ditch.

The truck driver and helper were rushed to Jhenidah General Hospital.

Jhenidah Kaliganj thana Assistant Police Super Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the accident to banglanews24.com.bd.
