Killers of Cesare Tavella identified!

DHAKA: Detective Branch of Police have claimed that some people have been identified as suspected killers of Italian charity worker Cesare Tavella.

After examining CC camera footage of several places near to the crime scene and call detail record (CDR) of suspected killers, Law enforcers identified people who directly involved in the killing mission.

While talking to banglanews, several officials related to the investigation into the murder case confirmed the matter.

The DB officials claimed that the suspected people, who apparently have direct involvement in the killing mission, have been kept under watch. They will be arrested any time.

However, wishing anonymity, an officer of DB police told banglanews that no connection of militant groups Islamic State (IS) was found in the killing though earlier it claimed the responsibility for the murder.

Metropolitan detective police deputy commisiner (DC) Mahbubul Alam told banglanews that we started investigation of the case keep in mind some possible angle. Considerable progress in investigation into the murder has been attained.

Some were identified as suspected murderers and process is underway to arrest them. Mystery of the killing will be revealed after arrest of them, the DC of police added.

On the other hand, the body of Cesare Tavella has been kept at mortuary of Dhaka Medical College Hospital after autopsy. Italian embassy in Dhaka is preparing for sent back the body to home.
