COX’S BAZAR: Police arrested listed human trafficker Rostam Ali Majhi, 45, from Chhanuathana Bazar area of Ukhia upazila of the district on Saturday morning.
Ukhia Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Jahirul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Jahirul Islam also said Rustam Majhi is involved in trafficking of at least 4,000 fortune seekers. Of them, more than 100 went missing.
Some 10 cases were filed against him on allegations of human trafficking, he added.
