DHAKA: Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that law enforcers are working with bravery to fight violence and terrorism in the country.
He made this assertion to the media after visiting the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) sub-inspector (SI) Monirul Islam, who is admitted at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in city on Thursday.
Earlier on October 20, the SI was critically injured in a gunfight with miscreants in Mahisha village in sadar upazila in Tangail district.
The home boss said that the law enforcers are working with bravery to fight violence and terrorism in the country.
‘We are proud of the law enforcers. For their brave efforts terrorism are not getting change to foot in the country,’ Kamal added.
According to him, the law forcers are collecting information and taking acting accordingly.
About Monirul Islam, the minister said that the SI is gradually recovering his wounds.
‘He has given some information about the drive.’
Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque and RAB director general Benazir Ahemd, among others, were also present during the visit.
