DHAKA: Gonajagoron Mancha spokesperson Imran H Sarkar on Friday termed the international human rights organization Amnesty International as an anti-human organization and brought out a rally protesting its remarks on Freedom Fighter’s trial.
During the rally at city’s Shahbagh intersection area the spokesperson also alleged that AI is a militant organization; it did not talk or protest against the attacks on Syrians and Palestinians.
“But, it has been issuing statements against the trial of war criminals from the beginning,” he added.
The Mancha also demanded to the government to stop Amnesty’s activities in Bangladesh and question its employees who work here.
Imran also demanded closing the organizations that do not believe in the spirit of Liberation War.
He also called the government to bring all war criminals, including those in Jamaat-e-Islami, BNP and ruling Awami League, under trial.
The Mancha spokesperson also called Amnesty to withdraw their statement.
Imran H Sarkar also declared to organize a protest rally in front of Amnesty International’s office in Britain.
One of Gonojagoron Mancha organizers Laki Akhter, also Chhatra Union President and Khelaghor organizer Tahmin Sultana Sathi were, among others, present here.
