2 killed in Ashulia road crashes

ASHULIA, DHAKA: At least two people were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents in Ashulia Industrial area on Tuesday.

Witnesses said a north Bengal-bound pick up van fall in a ditch after its driver lost control over steering near Chakraborty Bus Stand on Nabinagar-Kaliakair highway, leaving five people injured.  

They were rushed to local clinics. Later, critically injured Rakib and another one were shifted to Enam Medial College Hospital where on duty doctor declared dead one.  

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Besides, a rashly driven truck crushed into an easy-bike near Nabinagar Bus Stand around 11.30am, leaving its driver dead on the spot.


Savar Highway Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahabubur Rahaman confirmed the accidents to banglanews.
