DHAKA: The Government has decided to appoint Major General Rezanur Rahman Khan as the next Ambassador of Bangladesh to Iraq.

Major General Rezanur Rahman Khan, psc was commissioned in the corps of Infantry, Bangladesh Army on 27 December 1981.

In his long illustrious career he served as the General Officer Commanding in 55 Infantry Division, Area Commander of Logistic Area, Commander of Army Security Unit and as the Military in Ethiopia and Uganda.

General Khan’s distinct military career is star-studded with a balanced composition of command, staff and instructional assignments.

Major General Rezanur Rahman Khan, psc is a keen golfer. He held the post of vice president in the Jessore Golf Club.
