FENI: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) jawans abducted a member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) from Bilonia border area under Parshuram upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

The abducted BGB member was identified as Shajahan, 40.

Company Commander of Feni BGB-4 Lt Colonel Khaled Mahmud told banglanews, “While going to Kalikapur BGB camp from Bilonia camp at around 10.00am, BSF personnel abducted Shahjahan, a plain dressed BGB member.”

He added: “We are yet to know about the reason of his abduction. We are looking into the matter.”
