CHITTAGONG: A Chittagong court on Tuesday awarded death penalty to three men in a gang rape case of a young Marma girl.

The court also acquitted two persons as they were found not guilty in the case.

Acting judge of district women and children repression tribunal-2 Rezaul Karim passed the verdict.

The convicts are Kamal Uddin Jewel, Iqbal Hossain and Suman Robi Das. All of them are residents of Rangunia upazila of the district.
