Director General level talks (DGLT) between the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Indian Border Security Force (BSF), scheduled to start in Dhaka on Sunday, has been postponed.
The BSF delegation could not come to Dhaka due to closure of Dhaka-Kolkata/ Dhaka-Delhi flights till September 30.
Md Shariful Islam, public relations officer at BGB headquarters, confirmed the postponement to Banglanews on Sunday.
He said the talks between BGB and BSF was scheduled to be held from September 13 to 18. However, the BSF delegation, who decided to come to Dhaka with their own aircraft, could not make it at the last moment due to technical error with the aircraft.
The schedule of the DGLT meeting will be fixed later, he added.
