DHAKA: Chittagong Hill Tracts Regional Council’s Chairman Jyotirindra Bodhipriya Larma alias Santu Larma Wednesday expressed his dissatisfaction over implementation of CHT peace accord.

“All the political government’s attitude towards Adivasi is the same as none of them allow our economic, social and political rights. This is a bitter experience in my political life,” he said.  

Larma was addressing a discussion meeting organized by Jatiya Adivasi Parishad (JAP) to mark the 155th anniversary of ‘Santal Revolution’ at Shilpakala Academy.

Anil Marandi, president of JAP, chaired the discussion while Janata bank chairman Prof Abul Barkat, Fazle Hossain Badsha MP, Prof Sadeka Halim spoke.

He deplored the Awami League government signed the peace accord in 1997 but they did not implement it during the regime.
