DHAKA: The High Court on Thursday stayed the remand order of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Adviser Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain.
An HC bench comprising Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Mohammad Ullah passed the order as defense lawyers filed the plea earlier.
Earlier in the day, a lower court Wednesday granted two-day remand for Khandaker Mahbub Hossain in a bomb blast case.
He was held from in front of National Press Club on Tuesday afternoon.
