JESSORE: Joint forces have arrested 54 accused, including three activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami, from different places under eight upazilas of Jessore district.
 
The special drives conducted between Thursday night and Friday dawn to nab wanted accused, said Jessore district police control room on-duty official Anisur Rahman.
 
Of the arrestees, two are activists of Jamaat and one BNP man while rests are accused in several cases, including sabotage, he added.

The arrested accused would be produced before Jessore court on Friday, said the police official.
