The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today (November 16) said they are aware of US Ambassador to Bangladesh Peter Haas’s whereabouts.  

Seheli Sabrin, spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this during a press briefing today.

She said the ministry, however, does not publicly disclose the whereabouts of any ambassador.

"When ambassadors leave the station, they inform the host country and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through diplomatic letters. In their absence, someone else is put in charge," she said.

“Where has Peter Haas gone, you (journalists) can find out at the US Embassy,” said Sehli Sabrin.
