Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, who is set to become the chief adviser to the interim government, will arrive in the country on Thursday afternoon.
Confirming the media, Nazmul Islam, Managing Director of Grameen Telecom, said on Wednesday, “Sir (Professor Yunus) will depart from France. He will land at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 2 PM tomorrow.”
In the wake of anti-discrimination movement's prevailing situation, Sheikh Hasina resigned and left the country. Subsequently, the decision to form an interim government headed by Professor Yunus has been finalised.
