Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized Indian saree and garlic worth about over Taka 27 lakh in Chagalnaiya border area of Feni on Monday (Sep 30).
 
"A team of BGB-4 Battalion conducted a drive in Feni Chagalnaiya border area and seized 10 sacks of Indian sarees worth about Taka 26.76 lakh and 3,00 kg Indian garlics," Feni BGB Battalion-4 authorities confirmed the matter.

BGB will continue drives to protect border security and prevent smuggling, he said.

Seized smuggled goods were deposited to local customs.
