BENAPLONE (JESSORE): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained eight Bangladeshis while entering Bangladesh from India through Benapole border in Jessore district on Tuesday.

But the BGB could not detain any trafficker.

Benapole check-post ICP BGB camp subedar Jalal Uddin told banglanews that the Bangladeshis were held from Benapole-Gatipara road.

The detainees were also handed over to Benapole Port Thana police in accusation of illegal crossing, he added.
