MANIKGANJ: Ferry services on Daulatdia-Paturia route in the Padma River resumed after a three and half an hour suspension from Wednesday dawn due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Paturia Ghat’s commercial department assistant manager Mohiuddin Russel told banglanews the ferry services, which has been halted since 5:00am to avoid accidents for heavy fog, become normal after visibility returned around 8:30am.

Of the 17 ferries plying on Paturia-Daulatdia route, seven ferries that got stuck with passengers and vehicles in the middle of Padma river, started their journey for respective destinations.
