COMILLA: A man and his wife were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Lalmai area of Sadar South in Comilla district on Wednesday morning.

Identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

Lalmai Highway police in-charge sub-inspector Lutfar Rahman told banglanews that a microbus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Comilla-Noakhali regional highway around 9:00am, leaving the couple dead on the spot and others injured.

The injured were sent to Comilla Medical College Hospital, he added.
