DHAKA: Rahman Masud, special correspondent of country’s leading online newsportal Banglanews24.com has received the Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) Best Reporting Award-2015 for his investigative reports.

He was awarded in the Online Category.

Information minister Hasanul Haq Inu handed over the award at Shilpakala Academy auditorium in city’s Segun Bagicha area on Thursday afternoon.

The theme of Rahman Masud’s report was on the use of Bangladesh as a favored route for cocaine transportation.

DRU president Sakhawat Hossain Badshah and many others were present at the award giving ceremony.
