KSA to bring Bangladesh physicians, nurses, teachers

DHAKA: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will take physicians, nurses and teachers from Bangladesh.

Economic Relations Division (ERD) senior secretary Mohammad Mesbah Uddin informed the media on Thursday, the 2nd day of 2-day Bangladesh-KSA joint meeting.

He said that Saudi Arabia has expressed their eagerness to bring doctors-nurses and teachers from Bangladesh.

Bangladeshi workers sent three billions USD from Saudi Arabia, the secretary added.

‘We have also urged the Saudi authorities to increase their investment to Bangladesh.’

‘Moreover, we have proposed them for duty-free import of readymade garments, leather, leather-goods, medicines and agri-products,’ Mesbah Uddin added.

Regarding the opening of umrah visa to KSA, Saudi deputy labor minister Dr Ahmed bin Fahad al Fayeed told the media that they had discussed on the matter and he will talk to the authorities concerned after retuning home..

However, Fayeed and Mesbah Uddin led their respective sides during the meeting.
