COMILLA: A team of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-10 early Friday detained four foreigners, including a woman, from Keraninagar frontier in the district on charge of intrusion.

Confirming the matter, BGB-10 Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mokhlesur Rahman told banglanews that they handed over the detainees to Kotowali Thana in the morning.

He further said the detainees, who are citizens of Guinea, Congo, Cameroon and South Africa, had nothing illegal in their possession except expired Indian visas.

Police was processing to file cases against them, he added.
