DHAKA: Law enforcers have been conducting a security search drive around Central Jail in city since Saturday morning to avoid any untoward situation in the area.

The search drive was reported on Nazimuddin Road and its adjacent areas in the morning.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-10 deputy assistant director (DAD) Abdul Qader told banglanews that members of the law enforcers are searching people on suspicion to avoid any subversive incident.

The law enforcers have also taken stronger position around Central Jail and its adjacent areas, he added.
