DHAKA: Law minister Anisul Huq categorically said that the clemency issues of death row convict war criminal BNP leader Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury and Jamaat secretary general Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid will be soon.

The minister made this assertion Saturday noon.

According to him, it will take short time to solve the clemency pleas of these two cases rather than the other pleas.

He further said, ‘We are working for execution of the verdict, given by the Supreme Court.’

‘We will complete it in a shorter time,’ the minister added.
