DHAKA: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid Thursday said government has no accurate statistics of Kaumi madrasas.

“But the government is working to prepare the statistics,” said the Minister while replying to a written question of Shammi Akther MP of BNP.

He also informed to the House that the detailed report on Kaumi Madrasa would be published on behalf of the government by December.

Replying to another question of ruling party MP Bazlul Haque, he said the government is considering to incorporate subjects including Bengali, Mathematics, Sciences and Sociology into the Kaumi Madrasha.

He also said in the parliament that the government is also thinking to set up an separate Madrasha Education Board for Kaumi Madrasa.
