GOALANDA, RAJBARI: The ferry services on Daulatdia-Paturia river route resumed on Tuesday morning after a seven hours suspension from 10:00pm Monday.

The ferry services were halted as a ferry “Amanat Shah” stuck at shoal while it was returning Daulatdia from Paturia.

Meanwhile, a long gridlock created in the ghat area and the passengers of the route are facing acute hassles due to the halt.

BIWTC Daulatdia Ghat manager Abu Abdullah told banglanews that the ferry service resumed at 5am as the ferry was removed form the shoal.
