Egypt releases 2 Bangladeshis

DHAKA: Egypt authorities released two Bangladeshis, who were held on August 19 and sent to jail for violating curfew, from the jail on Monday night.

The Bangladeshi nationals are--- Belayet Hossain, a student and M Nasir Majumder, a worker.

Nasir Majumder will have to return to Bangladesh as he was staying in Egypt without visa.

Nasir Majumder’s employer initially refused to provide return ticket to him but due to active intervention of Bangladesh embassy the employer managed a ticket for him and he will be flying back on August 29.

The authority said that Bangladeshi expatriates are under their constant supervision.
