DHAKA: US Ambassador to Dhaka Dan W Mozena had a meeting with Bangladesh ex foreign secretary Farooq Sobahan at his Gulshan residence in the city on Friday.

Sources said ongoing political situation, upcoming national election, strategy and action of US diplomacy in the context of change of government in the country were discussed in the meeting.

Sources also said during the 2-hour long meeting, Mozena and the Bangladeshi ex diplomat discussed about the non-violent way of power hand over.
