Anti-Corruption Reporters Forum launched

Journalists working with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) have formed an organisation named "Anti-Corruption Reporters Forum (ACRF)."

The new organisation started its journey on Tuesday at the media centre of the ACC in Dhaka’s Segunbagicha.

Tawheed Sourav, special correspondent of ATN News, has been made the ACRF convener and Muhammad Rishad Huda, senior reporter of Independent Television, will act as the member secretary.

Other members of the convening committee are – Morshed Noman, chief reporter of the Daily Sun, Aditya Arafat, special correspondent of DBC News, MA Rahman Masum, senior correspondent of Dhaka Post, Hasib Bin Shahid, senior reporter of the Kaler Kantho, Mahbub Kabir Chopol, special correspondent of ATN Bangla, and Sheikh Zahiduzzaman, special correspondent of Bangla Barta.

After launching the organisation, the ACRF leaders met ACC Chairman Mohammad Moinuddin Abdullah and its two commissioners – Md Jahurul Haque and Asia Khatoon.

The ACC chief and the commissioners congratulated the forum and sought its cooperation in all activities to curb corruption.

As per its next course of action, the ACRF will soon form a full-fledged executive committee.
