As many as 12 persons, including 10 Bangladeshi nationals, were arrested at Agartala Railway Station while going to Gujarat on Tuesday, reports Biswendu Bhattacharjee.
Tapas Das, officer-in-charge of Agartala Govt Railway Police Station, said in a joint operation of police, RPF and BSF led to the arrest.
They were caught when security personnel noticed their suspicious movements in the station.
Later, 10 of them admitted that they are Bangladeshi citizens, while two individuals, claimed they are Indians.
