The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain or thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds in most parts of the country over the next 24 hours from 9:00am Friday.

Moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur in some areas, said weatherman Dr. Md. Omar Faruq, adding that day and night temperatures may rise slightly.

Thursday’s highest temperature was 33°C in Mongla, while the lowest today was 23.3°C in Tangail.

In Dhaka, sunset is at 6:49pm today and sunrise at 5:12am tomorrow.
