Three young men were killed after being hit by a train in Mirsarai's Jorarganj area on Thursday night.

The deceased are, Arafat Hossain, 18, Anis, 18, and Riaz, 18. All of them were residents of Madhyam Sonapahar area under Jorarganj in Chattogram’s Mirsarai upazila.

The incident happened around 9:00pm near the railway line beside the BSRM factory in Jorarganj.

Jorarganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Abdul Halim confirmed the matter. 

He said the three youths, aged between 18 and 20, died after being run over by a train.
