GAZIPUR: Three people, including a garment worker, were killed in road accidents at different places of the city on Friday morning.
Of the dead, one was identified as Fahima Akter, 16, worker of Pashari Sweater Factory and wife Sohel Rana of Netrokona.

Kapasia Thana sub-inspector (SI) Manjurul told banglanews that a road accident took place in Torgaon area around 9:30am,   leaving two unidentified man dead on the spot.

On the other hand, an unidentified vehicle hit a female worker of readymade garment in Kamaleshwar area of Gazipur on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 7:30am, leaving her dead on the spot.

Naojorh highway police camp in-charge M Baharul Alam told banglanews that on information, police rushed to the spot and sent the dead body to Gazipur Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
