DHAKA:  Detectives detained a youth named Nahid Hossain for running publicity of Islamic State (IS) through internet network.

A team of Detective branch of Dhaka Metropolitan police (DMP) conducted a drive in city’s Badda area early hours of Wednesday and picked up the young man.

DMP media center deputy police commissioner Muntasirul Islam told banglanews that the youth has been conducting publicity using the name of ‘Jihadi John’.
