DHAKA: At least one devotee was killed and three injured as a group of miscreants opened fire at a mosque at Shiibganj upazila in Bogra district on Thursday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Moazzem Hossain (75).

One of the injured Shahinur was rushed to Shaheed Zia Medical College and Hospital while the two others Aftab and Taher were admitted at Upazila Health Complex of the upazila.

Witness said that the miscreants opened firing at the mosque adjacent to Hariharpur Bus Stand after maghrib prayers, leaving Moazzam dead on the spot.
