BANDARBAN: Two upazilas Bandarban district will be placed under lockdown as the Sadar and Ruma upazilas have been declared as red zones in terms of cornonavirus (Covid-19) infection level.

The district administration of Bandarban will place the upazilas under lockdown at 12 noon Wednesday.  

People of those areas have been requested to purchase their essential commodities before this time.   

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban Md Shamim Hossain confirmed this information on Tuesday (June 9).
